Idol Hands is an archive of Winamp skins by me, Heyoka. I'm relatively new to skinning, so I'm still refining my style, as you will probably be able to tell from the skins page. I like to think, though, that my years of web design experience and my strong interest in interface design help me avoid many pitfalls of beginning skinners, and keep my skins fun but useable. So far I'm sticking with "picture" skins, mostly anime themed.

I make my skins "by hand", using Paint Shop Pro 6 (and sometimes the Blade Pro plugin). I find nullFX's template invaluable; you can download it from his website, if spaceports.com is behaving. This is different from many templates in that you can paste it as a layer into your base file in Paint Shop or Photoshop, and use it as a guideline for component placement.
